AAEON Launches a New 3.5" SubCompact Board: GENE-9655

The GENE-9655 adopts the Intel® GME965 + ICH8M chipset and has the Socket-P that can accept an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo/ Celeron® M (65nm) processor, such as the 2.2GHz T7500.  The board can also be ordered with the option to have an Intel® BGA processor embedded on it in place of the processor socket. 

The GENE-9655 supports up to 2 GB of DDR2 533/667 memory in its one 200-pin SODIMM socket.  For high-speed network communications, the GENE-9655 features the Intel® 82574L and Intel® 82566MM chipsets which support two Gigabit Ethernet ports to provide fast data transmission. 

Another key feature of the GENE-9655 is the multiple I/O interfaces, such as six USB2.0 ports, three RS-232 ports, one switchable RS-232/422/485 port, one PS/2 Keyboard, one PS/2 Mouse and an 8-bit programmable Digital I/O interface.
